Marielle pursued a career as a bilingual Air traffic Controller in Canada. She also had the opportunity to teach ATC in the United Arab Emirates for a few years. She holds a PPL license with ski rating. Marielle owns a taildragger which she flies for pleasure from Dawson City, Yukon, where she has lived and flown for 25 years. Her husband builds experimental aircraft from kits and she helps him whenever she can, as she loves the building process. She holds a degree in communications from the University du Quebec in Montreal, Canada. Marielle is self-employed, owns her own business and has been teaching Yoga for 30 years. She promotes the French language outside of her home province of Quebec. She has been on the board of the Yukon French Association for the last 20 years. Marielle enjoys hiking with her dogs in New Mexico, where she now spends her winters, and loves berry picking and camping in the Yukon wilderness in the summers. Marielle also loves reading and writing and is currently working on Volume Ill of her transformative memoir series.
